Blake Lively and Taylor Swift have a friendship for the ages. Inseparable since the early 2010’s, the duo have only grown closer in the past few years, so much so they’re basically like family.
Though Swift has always been known for her inner circle of powerful female friendships, including A-list stars like Selena Gomez and Sophie Turner, one of her longest-lasting kinships is with Lively, and by proxy, her husband Ryan Reynolds. The kismet connection all started when Lively shared a photo from her 2015 L’Oreal campaign with a caption that referenced the singer’s “Bad Blood” music video. When fans thought the actress was throwing shade, Lively quickly clarified that that was not the case, but rather she was a huge fan of Swift’s music. The two eventually met up in Australia for a day of petting koalas and gallivanting, and the rest was history.
Ahead, find a comprehensive timeline of Taylor Swift and Blake Lively's friendship.
