I joined Method Communications six years ago because they promised to combine a culture of high performancewith a focus on building real relationships. Lip service around "investinginrelationships" is common, so I didn't really believe it at first -- but I was quickly blown away by how Method authentically prioritizes supporting clients, staff, media and partners. It's long-term philosophy that's fueled breakout growth -- and makes Method an awesome place to work.I'm honored to jumpinas West CoastGeneralManagerhere at Method. Our leadership teaminSilicon Valley is seriously fantastic and I'm fired up to workalongside Katy Laine Kenealy, Analisa Schelle, Beth Haiken, Robin S., Kylie Mojaddidi and the rest of our amazing crew to shape criticalnarratives about the future, tell electrifying stories, make new friends and have a ton of fun along the way. Tech is always thrilling, and now is a particularly fascinating time to help challenger brands tell breakout stories amid megatrends like AI, the energy transition, and tectonic generational shifts. Here we go!

Method Communications is ALWAYS in the mix for top tech PR firm--and we just did it again. 2023 was a particularly crazy year in PR and tech--so especially rewarding to see our team's hustle and creativity paying off with a top agency nomination in PRovoke Media.Congrats to other nominees as well for outdoing a tough year with good work!

Last year was pretty gloomy in tech. I loved the Method Research's team investigation into just how bad it was - whereby they found 2023 workplace happiness declining 10x faster than in the previous three years. (Makes me feel luckier than ever to love my job!)Our team coined a sticky term - the Great Gloom - on behalf of BambooHR, crushed media outreach and won a prestigious SABRE award from PRovoke Media. Wonderful win! And here's hoping to the Great Cheer for next year.

Here's AI that delivers real business results and solves a real problem - actually engaging consumers about stuff we buy online to provide genuinely useful recommendations.Congratulations to Vinod Kumar Ramachandran and Arnaud Weber on their seed round for Big Sur AI led by Lightspeed!

Lyft's roller coaster ride is a good reminder that outstanding human proofreading never goes out of style. All the #AI in the world can't save us from getting a number wrong.Their gorgeous recovery also drives home that turtling when inevitable screwups land doesn't work anymore (did it ever?). Adding a decimal space to earnings is a pretty big fail, but through their comms jujitsu I somehow like Lyft more for owning it, charmingly. Well done!https://lnkd.in/gxXBawH3

To beat climate change, we need utility-scale change -- and massive amounts of new, clean electricity to support EVs and electric heating. Fascinating conversation between client National Grid Partners president Stephen Smith and #climatetech guru Katie Fehrenbacher in today's Axios on the investment strategy to get it done. I'm personally fascinating by smart uses for all the natural gas lines crisscrossing the planet. Gotta love the optimism!https://lnkd.in/g7gpyVM5

A note of optimism I'm hearing in cleantech circles (despite the harrowing/fun headline here) - even in a second Trump presidency, the #climatetech train has left the stationhttps://lnkd.in/gS_N8yJg

It's hard to see Edelman's new Trust Barometer without thinking the firm quietly representing autocracies who saw boosted trust ratings. A PR agency dedicated to ostensibly owning trust has to be more transparent about clients.Interesting that developing countries have far higher trust levels than developed companies. Makes me wonder: what level of trust in countries or companies is healthy? When should we be skeptics? What are the proof points or red flags we should focus on? How do we interrogate our experts to ensure the facts are accurate--without being experts ourselves? In short: how do we trust and verify?https://lnkd.in/gHYxUJ8f
