Microcredit provides small loans to poor people and small enterprises. It is the best solution of removing poverty. This study provides an overview of the significance of microcredit in Pakistan. The major objective of the study is to show the microfinance sector performance and impact of the microcredit on the different poverty levels. This study is based on both quantitative and qualitative methods in order to answer the thesis questions. The result of the study was that microcredit helps in the poverty alleviation of different categories of poor people and has the positive effects on their living standards. It was found that there is a high interest rate on micro loans because of the administrative cost. Efficiency of Microfinance Banks and Institutes: In Creation of Self-Employment in Pakistan

The aim of this research is to make comparison between the microfinance banks and microfinance institutes in creation of self-employment in Pakistan. The data extract from the years 2018-2022, the 4 financial banks and institutes has been taken. The different types of profitability ratio are used in this research. The population of the research is twenty-seven but the sample size of this research is eight and the random sampling technique is used. The SPSS was used and the t-test was applied to the data. To analyze for the purpose of investigating for their performances. The various ratios to apply for their productivity, rates of lending loans as well as how much people got loans from them and what are the criteria of lending loans, feasibility of lending the loans and profitability trend in each sector. This research concludes that after applying all the ratios analyzing its return and seeing the efficiency of microfinance banks and institutes, as their major focus is to make the country prosperous by lending the loan to the people as it has consumed less days to grants loans that creates selfemployment in Pakistan. The researcher comes to this point that from considering all the facts and figures, terms and conditions, rules and regulations of all aspects of microfinance banks and institutes. The basis of this research, its profitability is more, the customers are more attracted towards it. The less working days it consumes than the other ones. Its liabilities and expenses are less than the others.

Effect of Microfinance on Enterprise Level of Poor People: An Empirical Study

The current study tries to set the impact of micro-credit services on improvement in business base in Nepal. The study employed a causal study. The sample for this study consists of participants of MFIs in the Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Sindhupalchok from January 2014 to December January 2016. Stratified random sampling was used to select 400 respondents. Data was collected by use of a questionnaire and in-depth interview. The data was pre-processed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Studies shows the credit facilities had the highest impact followed by use of different business base. The study also recommends that the MFIs operating in the Nepal be empowered through provision of finances which can be advanced to the locals as credit to facilitate economic growth of people. Impact of Micro Credit on a Household level in Shikarpur District: An Econometric Analysis

The current research investigates the Impact of Micro Credit on a household level An Econometric Analysis. Data were collected from 200 respondents from Shikarpur District.  A structural questionnaire was developed for the reliability and validity of the data. It was revealed that Micro credit has positive impact on the living standard and diet intake of the in different villages of Shikarpur District. It was further revealed that household hardly meets calories requirements leaving the other basic needs. It is revealed that micro-credit is not enough to reduce the poverty in rural Pakistan. Purpose: This paper investigates impact of microfinance on household income and employment. It is a primary data research conducted in the Bahawalpur division, Pakistan. The study employed the tool developed by Assessing the Impact of Microenterprise Services (AIMS) and Small Enterprise, Education and Promotion (SEEP). The tool has been modified in local context. The sample consists of 1524 respondents, out of which 773 are established clients (treatment group) and 751 are incoming ones (control group), belonging to different microfinance providers of Pakistan. Independent Sample T-Test and Multiple regressions have been used for analysis. The regression analysis shows that participation to microfinance program has strong positive impact on household income while very minute positive impact on employment. The study included a desk review of literature, as well as case study research on microfinance contribution in some SSE in Cimanggis district. Link between Micro Credit on SMEs business Growth and Poverty Alleviating in Rural Sindh

The current research investigates the linkage between Micro credit on SMEs business growth and poverty alliviation in rural Sindh. Data will be collected from 300 respondents who used Micro credit by using the simple random sampling technique and data were analysis by using SPSS-21 version. It was revealed that micro credit increases employment and productivity or not is an empirical question which we will explore in this section. Consequently, the best way to reduce poverty is to deal with both problems: increasing productivity by creating employment and developing human capital. One way to increase the productivity of the poor is through broad-based economic growth.Â
