  • 4 ply milk cotton yarn
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 9 mm round safety eyes
  • Black embroidery thread
  • Fibrefillstuffing
  • Stitch markers
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissor

HEAD

Inbeige yarn.



Rnd 1: Start 8 sc in a magic ring. [8]
Rnd 2: Inc in all 8 st. [16]
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc in next st ) x 8. [24]

Rnd 4: (Sc in next 3 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [30]

Rnd 5: (Sc in next 4 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [36]
Rnd 6: Sc in all 36 st.= [36]

Rnd 7: (Sc in next 5 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [42]
Rnd 8: (Sc in next 6 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [48]

Rnd 9: (Sc in next 7 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [54]
Rnd 10-11: Sc in all 54 st.= [54]

Rnd 12: (Sc in next 8 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [60]
Rnd 13-15: Sc in all 60 st.= [60]

Rnd 16: (Sc in next 9 st, inc in next st ) x 6. [66]
Rnd 17-19: Sc in all 66 st.= [66]

Attach safety eyes 6 mm between rnd 15 and 16, leaving 11 stitches (count 10 holes) between them.

Rnd 20: (Sc in next 9 st, dec) x 6. [60]
Rnd 21: (Sc in next 8 st, dec) x 6. [54]
Rnd 22: (Sc in next 7 st, dec) x 6. [48]
Rnd 23: (Sc in next 6 st, dec) x 6. [42]

Start stuffing the head with fiberfill stuffing as you continue.

Rnd 24: (Sc in next 5 st, dec) x 6. [36]
Rnd 25: (Sc in next 4 st, dec) x 6. [30]
Rnd 26: (Sc in next 3 st, dec) x 6. [24]
Rnd 27: (Sc in next 2 st, dec) x 6. [18]
Rnd 28: (Sc in next st, dec) x 6. [12]
Rnd 29: (Dec) x 6. [6]

Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Sl st in next st and fasten off. Leave a long yarn tail. Thread the tail through a needle and weave the needle through the front loop of each of the 6 st. Pull the yarn tail to close the hole. Insert the needle through the middle of the hole and pull through the top.

Fasten off and weave the end in.

NOSE & MOUTH

Using black embroidery thread, sew nose and mouth between rnd 16-17.

LEG x 2

In white yarn.

Rnd 1: Start 7 sc in a magic ring. [7]

Rnd 2: Inc in all 7 st. [14]
Rnd 3-4: Sc in all 14 st. [14]

Fasten off the 1st leg and leave a long yarn tail.

Rep rnd 1-5, make a 2nd leg, but do not fasten off as we will continue to work on the body. Stuff the legs firmly withfiberfill stuffing.

BODY

Change tobeige yarn.

Rnd 5: Ch 2, join the 1st leg. (Sc in next 6 st. Inc in next 2 st. Sc in next 6 st. Sc in next 2 ch). Rep * one more time. [36]
Rnd 6: Sc in all 36 st. [36]

Rnd 7: (Sc in next 8 st, inc in next st ) x 4. [40]
Rnd 8: Sc in all 54 st. [40]

Rnd 9: (Sc in next 8 st, dec) x 4. [36]
Rnd 10-12: Sc in all 36 st. [36]

Start stuffing the body with fiberfill stuffing as you continue.

Rnd 13: (Sc in next 10 st, dec) x 3. [33]
Rnd 14: (Sc in next 9 st, dec) x 3. [30]
Rnd 15: (Sc in next 8 st, dec) x 3. [27]
Rnd 16: (Sc in next 7 st, dec) x 3. [24]

Stuff the body firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Fasten off and weave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Use the yarn tail from the 1st leg to sew close any holes near the joining.

Fasten off and weave in the end.



Sew the body to the head.

CHEEK x 2

In pink yarn.

Ch 4.

Rnd 1: Sc in next 2 st. 3 sc in next st. Sc in next 2 st. Inc in next st. [8]

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the cheek onto the face between to rnd 17-18.

HAND x 2

Start with brown yarn.

Rnd 1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring. [6]

Rnd 2: Inc in all 6 st. [12]
Rnd 3-4: Sc in all 12 st. [12]

Change to white yarn.

Rnd 5: (Sc in next 10 st, dec). [11]

Change tobeige yarn.

Rnd 6: (Sc in next 9 st, dec). [10]
Rnd 7-8: Sc in all 10 st. [10]

Rnd 9: (Sc in next 3 st, dec) x 2. [8]

Stuff the hand moderately fiberfill stuffing.

Rnd 10: Flatten the hand and sc across both sides of the hand in each of the next 4 st to close the opening.

Sew the hands onto the body on rnd 16.

EAR x 2

Start withbeige yarn.

Rnd 1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring. [6]
Rnd 2: Sc in all 6 st. [6]

Rnd 3: Inc in all 6 st. [12]
Rnd 4: Sc in all 12 st. [12]

Rnd 5: (Sc in next 2 st, inc in next st ) x 4. [16]
Rnd 6: Sc in all 16 st. [16]

Change to brown yarn.

Rnd 7: Ch 1. Starting in the same st, work 13 hdc evenly along the edge.

Do not stuff the ear with fiberfill stuffing.

Fasten off the brown yarn and weave in the end.

Fasten off off-white yarn and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the ears to the head between rnd 7-13.

TAIL

In brown yarn.

Rnd 1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring. [6]

Rnd 2: Inc in all 6 st. [12]
Rnd 3-4: Sc in all 12 st. [12]

Rnd 5: (Dec) x 6. [6]

Stuff the tail firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the tail to the back of the body between rnd 8-9.
